Pretty sure this is the best commercial I’ve seen in a while. Berry pomegranate what? Awesome. Just put my life savings into Facebook – let’s hope for the best. If that doesn’t work out I’m going to the casino/bar going everything on black. Lights out!

• Ghost Beach – Miracle – This is feel good. WAY feel good. Kind of 80’s synth pop meets Hot Chelle Rae. Repeat – check.

• Santigold – GO! - Managed to land myself in front of the stage at a Santigold concert last weekend. She came out to this song. It was sick. If you get the chance, defiintely go check her out.

• Kill Paris – Shades of Funk -About what you’d expect based on the name – fun, beat heavy dance music. Kind of like what you’d play at a Playboy Mansion party in 2012.

• LIL KIDS – Nobodies – White rap with an awesome back beat. Smooth lyrics – like Hoodie Allen.

• Thievery Corporation – Emily – Little bit of a flashback to one of my all time favorite bands/songs. Thievery corp never ceases to amaze me with their ambient awesomeness. Travel music. Life music.

This may be the funniest thing I’ve seen all week. Whoever is responsible for this is a genius. Also check the Newt Gingrich one if you get the chance. Looks like awesome weather this weekend – see ya never. Donuts and venison, tacos and egg whites.

• Goldroom – Fifteen (ft. Chela) – This is one of those awesome beach inspired, driving down the highway at sunset, space age bachelor pad jams that will melt away any troubles you may have. Pure bliss – really one of the best tracks of 2012.

• The Knocks – Learn To Fly - I’ve been hearing more about the Knocks recently. Play this one at your next party and see what happens, just make sure no one takes it literally.

• Coldplay – Fight For Your Right (Beastie Boys Tribute) - Belting out this cover at the Beastie Boys tribute event last week, Chris Martin hits a home run. A poetic revolution for liberty and justice for all rebels.

• The Mamas and the Poppas – California Dreamin (Minnesota RMX) – This is a sick dubstep-ish remix of one of my all time favorite oldies. Kind of like a Pretty Lights without the electronic beat.

• 2Pac vs Gramatik – I Wonder If Heaven Got Away – Straight up, mashed up.

There is something silently rad about this video, put me in a good mood this morning. I just got back from a quick trip to San Fran and Big Sur – talk about a sick spot. If you haven’t been, go immediately. May showers bring weekend fire power. Catch you soon!

• RAC – Hollywood (feat.Penguin Prision) – If you have to download one song this month, this should be it. Imagine the best song by Phoenix, and then some. Penguin Prision is one of my favorite bands of the last year, highlighted by the greatest jam ever "Don’t F*ck With My Money."

• B.O.B. feat. Nicki Minaj – Out of My Mind -B.O.B is one of those artists that I just have to respect. The latest track with Miss Minaj is just sick, plain and simple.

• Sound Remedy – KO KO – Float -This has got all the popular sound bytes of late – whistling, slow/dubstep-ish beats, and a falsetto. Formulaic awesomeness.

• Logic – No Biggie – Logic lays down some bangin’ hip hop lyrics laid over some Biggie samples.

• Penguin Prision – Fair Warning (Robotaki Remix) – A great mix of 90s and electro pop sounds, Penguin Prision manages to make a second appearance on the jams with this sick remix.

This is awesome – wow. Thanks for giving the heads up Dan, great stuff. Really unfortunate music selection in the video, but what can you do. Headed out to California to sip on booze in the house of blues for a little while. See ya later April.

• Dada Life, Hardwell ft. Taio Cruz – Avicii’s Epic Hangover (Kap Slap Bootleg) – Just a straight up power dance song. It is hard to mashup these legends of electronics without producing something straight out of the voltage transformer.

• Wiz Khalifa – Work Hard, Play Hard -Wiz opts to bring us a more traditional hip hop song as opposed to his traditional melodic jams. Huge fan of this one.

• Purity Ring – Obedear - Imagine the Drive soundtrack meets Architecture of Helsinki with a little bit of JJ mixed in there. This has been on the top of the blogs all week.

• Coconut Records – West Coast – Feel good track I pulled off of Avett Brothers Radio, seemed pretty fitting for my day today.

• Bob Dylan – Farewell, Angelina – I used to hate Bob Dylan and I still kind of do…until I find gems like this one. Spectacular.

Solidfying the age old cliché that everything is better in slow motion. If only they had some 70’s port music playing. Got some sick tracks on the jams this week, just in time for May flowers and Spring Power.

• Theophilus London – Big Spender – Combining some of your favorite 50’s sounds with a heart stopping beat and incredible vocals. An awesome jam to get your head bobbing this morning.

• Damian Marley feat. Skrillex – Make It Bun Dem - Reggae meets dubstep as these two titans of industry combine forces. A phenomenal mashup of rastastep,

• A$AP Rocky – Goldie (prod. Hit-Boy) - If you like Lil’ Wayne, check this out. Kind of a modern version of Pass the Dutch, sweet jam to cruise to.

• St. Lucia – Closer Than This (Viceroy Remix) – Combining St. Lucia’s incredible vacation sound with Viceroy’s magical ability to take any song to the world of dreams is nothing short of a space-age liftoff. This song makes me feel like driving along the pacific coast.

• Rascal Flatts – Banjo – Enter my not-so-private love for country music. This song came on my shuffle yesterday and all I could think about is driving an old 1995 4-Runner to the beach with a dog in the back with his head out the window, cruising straight to a bonfire with 20 people who have nothing but beer and surfboards. Few visions of life make me happier.

• Hoodie Allen – No Faith In Brooklyn – Hoodie’s back with a new album, laying down some delicious white boy tracks. This new stuff is actually more melodic than past jams…and it’s awesome. Definitely worth a download.

• Scissor Sisters – Only The Horses - Also back on the scene with new music are the Scissor Sisters (all male) with their beat driving ballad that makes no sense. NO sense. But it’s a great beat and gets me pretty fired up, so whatever.

• TV Girl – I Wonder Who She’s Kissing Now -Great sound coming out of TV Girl. Fun 60’s retro strings mixed with a playful front man. Nothing than an innocent little sunset jam about the girl you’re digging making out with other dudes. God bless America.

• Skrillex – Ruffneck – Are you ready for the rock & bass? Soo…Skrillex is pretty intense. He’s also a musical prodigy, in my opinion. This remix of one of reggae’s legendary smash hits has become one of my favorite driving songs. Highly recommended download for anyone looking to get weird. Real weird.

• Alabama Shakes – Hold On – Imagine the Black Keys met up with The Band, had a few kids, who later started a band. This is what you would get. These guys are incredible – raw and rough.

Well, looks like Scion is pulling out all the stops, tasteless or not. This is absolutely ridiculous and made me laugh for a good 30 seconds. Check out their other vids too. Hope you’re all killing it for Easter!

• Florence & The Machine – Never Let Me Go – I have a soft spot for Florence and it seems that everything she puts out these days is amazing. The chorus of this song feels like it could melt the Great Wall of China. Raw power and passion, rocking out hard about heavy emotional issues. Female Meat Loaf? Maybe not.

• Dragonette – Let It Go -Though not with Martin Solveig, Dragonette are still producing some HOT dance music. This crowd thumping, European influenced jam should be at the top of your weekend running mix.

• Mark Morrison – Return of the Mac (Viceroy "Jet Life" Remix) -This is so good. Like summer in your face, sunshine blazing, just found out you won the lottery good. I mean, look at the cover art – awesome, beautiful people in the 60’s waving as they drive their boats past each other. Yes!

• Nikki Minaj – Starships -While at the local dive bar last weekend I found myself moving to this one as it blasted on the speakers, only to be informed by my fellow music guru KS that this is, like, the hottest song out there right now. She was right.

• Regina Spektor – Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas) – Regina’s characteristic soft and playful sound makes an appearance with this nice little "walking to the milk store" type of song. It’s hard to be in a bad mood when you listen to this. Reminds me of "Particle Man." Remember that song?

This is so awesome. Not only is this one of my all time favorite songs, these guys kill it. What a way to travel…and holy lord can this girl wait. Delicious. Seems like we’ve got another little run of moderate temps up here – can’t wait to be rocking 80 degrees and bike rides to the beach every day. Let’s goooo April.

• Metric – Twilight Galaxy (MALO Remix) – A phenomenal dance track. One of the best chorus lines I’ve heard in the electronic genre to date. Driving euphoria and the kind of sh*t that makes you want to move. Yes.

• Kimbra – Settle Down - Hot out of the gates, Kimbra delivers what will surely be one of the next jam phenomenons. Thanks to Cait for hooking this up.

• Temper Trap – Need Your Love - I’ve always had a thing for Temper Trap and am glad to find this one. It has their signature celebration style, total montage material.

• Gramatik – While I Was Playin’ Fair - Found this guy’s new album while cruising through Pretty Lights’ website and couldn’t stop listening to this track. Awesome hip hop/cruise music.

• Architecture in Helsinki – Desert Island (Halma’s Remix) – I’m a huge fan of AIH and love their ambient pop style. Reminds of me of being in California on the beach, killing it.

Damn this gives me chills. Gravitational domination – so awesome. We’re looking at a solid week of 70+ degrees. I’ll be sending out next weeks’ jams from the deck of a boat in the BVIs – see ya then!

• 24hr – 3pm – Close your eyes and put this on your headphones – instantly transported to the clear waters of the Caribbean, basking in the light of hapiness and enjoying all that life has to offer. One of the best I’ve heard in a while, similar to Kisses – Bermuda and other space age bachelor pad music.

• Alpine – Hands (Goldroom Remix) – Hard to beat the opening rhythm of this track. Like Ellie Goulding meets Escort – smooth, mildly electronic, full-life enhancing experience.

• Nightworks – Tried So Hard (Extended Mix)- This is SO good. A dark bar playing this may actually make me want to smoke cigarettes. Soften your mind and let this piano wash over you.

• Chali 2an – Comin’ Thru – Oh the Tuna is back and man does he kill it with this hip hop track. The legendary J5 slayer drops in with some casual sickness. Thanks Diane for sending this my way.

• Jeremy Aggers – What It Comes Down To - Simple, folk, awesome. One dude with a guitar singing a classic chord progression that seems to never lose its magic. Really one of the best things you can put in your brain today.
