Weekend of 05-11-12

This may be the funniest thing I’ve seen all week. Whoever is responsible for this is a genius. Also check the Newt Gingrich one if you get the chance. Looks like awesome weather this weekend – see ya never. Donuts and venison, tacos and egg whites.
• Goldroom – Fifteen (ft. Chela) – This is one of those awesome beach inspired, driving down the highway at sunset, space age bachelor pad jams that will melt away any troubles you may have. Pure bliss – really one of the best tracks of 2012.
• The Knocks – Learn To Fly - I’ve been hearing more about the Knocks recently. Play this one at your next party and see what happens, just make sure no one takes it literally.
• Coldplay – Fight For Your Right (Beastie Boys Tribute) - Belting out this cover at the Beastie Boys tribute event last week, Chris Martin hits a home run. A poetic revolution for liberty and justice for all rebels.
• The Mamas and the Poppas – California Dreamin (Minnesota RMX) – This is a sick dubstep-ish remix of one of my all time favorite oldies. Kind of like a Pretty Lights without the electronic beat.
• 2Pac vs Gramatik – I Wonder If Heaven Got Away – Straight up, mashed up.
