Weekend of 10-01-10

The jams were in full effect this past weekend, crushing mountains and fresh air in northern Montana. I wrote this entire blog on that very lake. Pull the trigger on something epic this weekend, and f’ing be somebody.
• Martin Solveig feat. Dragonette – Hello – had this one pumping at full volume at the top of Logan Pass, doing 40 on a bike and trying to videotape myself. For all of you who are checking this out for spin class music, this is it. Boom. P

• JustMe feat. Deacon the Villian – The Prodigal – someone put this on at a coffee shop in downtown Whitefish the morning after spending the night in the middle of a ghost town of East Glacier.
• Casa del Mirto – The Sun - Is it possible to enjoy this song without shades on? No.
• Xavier Rudd – Time to Smile – Sunset.
• Norwegian Recycling – Miracles – A mashup that makes you believe in Michael Jackson again.
