• Florence & The Machine – Never Let Me Go – I have a soft spot for Florence and it seems that everything she puts out these days is amazing. The chorus of this song feels like it could melt the Great Wall of China. Raw power and passion, rocking out hard about heavy emotional issues. Female Meat Loaf? Maybe not.
• Dragonette – Let It Go -Though not with Martin Solveig, Dragonette are still producing some HOT dance music. This crowd thumping, European influenced jam should be at the top of your weekend running mix.
• Mark Morrison – Return of the Mac (Viceroy "Jet Life" Remix) -This is so good. Like summer in your face, sunshine blazing, just found out you won the lottery good. I mean, look at the cover art – awesome, beautiful people in the 60′s waving as they drive their boats past each other. Yes!
• Nikki Minaj – Starships -While at the local dive bar last weekend I found myself moving to this one as it blasted on the speakers, only to be informed by my fellow music guru KS that this is, like, the hottest song out there right now. She was right.
• Regina Spektor – Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas) – Regina’s characteristic soft and playful sound makes an appearance with this nice little "walking to the milk store" type of song. It’s hard to be in a bad mood when you listen to this. Reminds me of "Particle Man." Remember that song?
